Solution
Thermory found a permanent office from Technopolis Ülemiste in a trendy Ülemiste City area. The customized premises were combined with a stylish showroom that serves now as a flagship store, customer training and events center. Employees are delighted with first-class transport connections and versatile services around the office. The new location has also impressed numerous international customers who have visited Thermory recently.

“Our group consists of several companies across the Nordics – Estonia, Finland and Latvia. It has been 3 years since two companies with slightly different cultures merged here in Estonia and that’s when we needed to find an office space where both teams could come together. Eventually, we found ourselves from Technopolis in Ülemiste City, a developing district in Tallinn,” says Andres Kangur, Group Marketing Director at Thermory.
Office space works as a flagship and invitational card to potential customers
Thermory’s new office space is located on the 9th floor of the building and the premises are customized just to their liking. In addition, there is a stylish showroom on the ground floor, which, according to Kangur, is designed for training and customer events. Both premises were designed by renowned architect studio KAMP and designers from Velvet Design. Thermory has used a lot of its own materials in the interior design, so that products can be presented to customers in an inspiring and innovative way.
“Our goal was to have an open and modern office space where our customers are welcome to visit. We ended up at Technopolis Ülemiste which has excellent transport connections, as the airport and train station are close. Here we can easily educate our customers of using timber in construction projects and show how great the material looks in our facilities. Our customers are mainly architects, property developers and interior designers that come here and consult us on their projects,” Andres adds.

“The main benefit is definitely the location and community here. We have a lot of services here starting from restaurants, retail stores to gyms and dentists. Our landlord Technopolis together with Ülemiste City do their best to develop the community, for example by creating social events and different kinds of networking possibilities. At first, we doubted how we could get customers to visit us on-site, but that worry turned out to be pointless. Dealing with Technopolis has been easy all the way through. Technopolis is really a professional property developer and from signing contracts to moving in it has been a well-managed process”, Kangur praises.
